Terms of service
The rules for your Helios account, saved records, agent connections, and subscriptions.
Last updated
1. Scope of these terms
These terms cover the Helios website, iPhone app, web app, and agent connection service. Read them with the Privacy policy.
2. The Helios service
Helios helps you plan and record workouts, track nutrition, save notes and photos, and review progress. Your apps and approved agents use the same Helios account.
Agents can read permitted records and propose supported changes. Some tasks must be completed in the app. A connection does not permit every feature or every change.
Helios does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Plans, food data, and AI estimates can contain errors. Check suitability for your needs and seek qualified advice for health concerns.
3. Your account
Use your own account, keep your email address current, and keep sign-in details private. Do not share passwords, sign-in codes, session tokens, or agent credentials.
Check agent permissions before approval. If you suspect unauthorised access, remove the affected connection and contact support.
4. Permitted use
Use Helios to manage records you own or have permission to use. You must not:
- Access another person's account or bypass sign-in, permissions, or service limits.
- Upload unlawful content, harmful software, or content that infringes another person's rights.
- Disrupt the service or use automated requests to evade access controls.
- Use another person's credentials or disguise the source of a request.
5. Your records
Your records remain yours. Saving them allows Helios to store, process, sync, and return them to you and the agents you authorise. This permission is needed for the features you use.
Review changes before approval and check the saved result. A network timeout does not prove whether a change was saved. Check the record before repeating an action.
Offline changes reach the server only after sync. Export important records before deletion, including pending changes where needed. An export is a copy; it is not an automatic restore service.
6. Agents and other services
ChatGPT, Claude, Apple, and other providers have their own terms. Helios does not include a ChatGPT or Claude subscription. You must meet each provider's requirements.
Removing a connection stops future authorised access. It does not erase the provider's existing copies or cancel its subscription. Manage those through the provider.
Food search uses public nutrition data. AI estimates are approximate. Check product labels, serving sizes, and estimates before saving them.
7. Subscriptions and beta access
The website currently offers free beta access. Displayed future Pro prices are AUD 7.99 per week or AUD 79.99 per year. A displayed price does not start a subscription. Check the purchase screen for the actual price, billing period, renewal terms, and trial conditions before approval.
The planned Pro membership covers Helios on iPhone and web, plus permitted agent connections. A seven-day trial is proposed but is not currently available from the account service. Free beta access does not itself authorise a paid purchase.
Apple handles purchases made through the iPhone app. Helios checks verified subscription information to determine access.
8. Cancellation and refunds
Manage an Apple subscription in Apple subscription settings. Follow the cancellation and renewal terms shown for your purchase. Deleting Helios or your account does not cancel Apple billing.
For an Apple purchase refund request, use Apple's purchase support. Contact Helios support about service problems. Applicable consumer rights are preserved.
When paid access ends, protected features can be blocked. Saved records are not deleted merely because access ends. Export, deletion, and support remain available with their normal sign-in checks.
9. Availability and limitations
Server sync, agent requests, and server account controls need a network connection. Some iPhone work stays local until a connection is available. Service faults or provider outages can delay sync, estimates, uploads, or email.
Beta features can change and can have faults. Report faults with the app version and request reference where available.
10. Account deletion
Request deletion under Account data in iPhone Settings or web Profile. Recent sign-in and explicit confirmation are required. Export first: deletion cannot be undone, and the requesting iPhone removes unsynced account work.
Access stops after acceptance. Live cleanup can remain pending if a service fails. Helios queues acceptance and completion emails for a verified email address. See Retention and deletion for backup and third-party copy limits.
Cancel Apple and agent subscriptions separately. Account deletion does not cancel them.
11. Consumer rights
These terms do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. This includes applicable guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. A beta label, service limitation, or provider refund process does not remove those rights.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the current revision. The latest terms are available at this address. A change to these terms does not authorise a charge or replace purchase approval.
13. Contact and disputes
Use Helios support for account, service, billing, or terms enquiries. Describe the problem without passwords, sign-in links, or access tokens.
